Jeremy Reece, ASU Mid-South Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, has agreed to take on the additional duties of Interim Athletics Director for the 2023-24 season.

Reece begins his 22nd year at the college after starting as an Education Opportunity Center counselor and moving up through the ranks as Manager of the Goldsby Scholarship Program, Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management, and Vice President for Student Affairs before assuming his current position when the college merged into the Arkansas State University system in 2015.

The West Memphis High School graduate attended Milsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a minor in English from the University of Memphis where he was a Mock Trial All-American. He then earned a Master's of Science degree in Leadership with an emphasis in College Student Personnel from the University of Memphis and served as an intern for United States Senator Fred Thompson.
