Christopher Extends Home Win Streak For Greyhounds
A hungry SAU Tech Rockets team traveled to West Memphis Thursday night to take on the ASU Mid-South Greyhounds. When these teams first met back in January, the Greyhounds had to come from behind in the second half to pull out the win. Much like the first meeting, it was the Greyhounds finding a way to dig themselves out of a hole at the end.

The new and upcoming Sharks have been making noise all throughout junior college basketball this season. The first time these two teams met in early December, it was the Greyhounds from ASU Mid-South who would pull out a 4 point win.

A game against two of the longest standing teams in Arkansas Junior College basketball did not disappoint in West Memphis Monday night. These two teams put on an offensive clinic scoring 193 combined points in an ASU Mid-South win.

Rivalry games always mean more when certain teams get together. That was the case Thursday night as the Greyhounds of ASU Mid-South traveled to Newport, Arkansas to take on the Aviators of ASU Newport. These two teams first met in December where the Greyhounds won 86-64, but the Aviators had different plans this time around.

Every time National Park and ASU Mid-South meet on the hardwood there is always just a little bit more at stake. Both teams have been at the top of the region for the last couple years, and these teams put on a show. It was no different tonight as the Greyhounds would eventually walk out of the Kettle with a win.

It was both teams first game back in a week as the the snowy weather had to postpone both teams previous game. The Stars came out hungry as they attacked the Greyhounds from start to finish earning the 89-78 win in front of their home crowd.

Our Greyhounds returned back from Christmas break and headed to East Camden to take on SAU Tech. It was the first game after the break for both teams as they jump straight back into Region 2 play. It was the Greyhounds who made a couple of plays late to secure a 73-68 victory.

In their final home game of the season, the ASU Mid-South Greyhounds are riding a two game winning streak. They welcomed in the Green Jays of Jackson State who were looking to avenge a bad loss to these Greyhounds from a year ago, and they gave ASU Mid-South all they wanted.

The Greyhounds hosted the Sharks of Southeast Arkansas in what would be the first ever meeting between the two schools, and it was tough battle between the two. In a game that saw many runs, the Greyhounds were able to make just a couple more plays in the end to hold off the Sharks.

Not only are their region standings on the line, but bragging rights are also on the line when these two teams get together.
