ASU Mid-South led 29-24 at the half and 44-36 after three quarters of play, but the defending district champion Lady Pioneers battled back to take a 49-48 lead with 4:40 to play and the Lady Greyhounds just couldn't find another run.
Alesha Penister led the home team with 19 points and Samantha Jackson and Sable Greer finished with ten points each.
The win gives the Lady Pioneers (18-3) the season sweep and the home court for the NJCAA Region 2 Championship on March 4, at 2:00pm, while the loss drops the Lady Greyhounds to 11-11 on the year.
Next up for the Lady Greyhounds is a home matchup with Three Rivers College who won an 80-64 decision on January 2 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Tipoff is scheduled for Monday at 5:30pm and a ceremony honoring ASU Mid-South's sophomore student-athletes will take place after the game and before the men's game at 7:30pm.
