Returning from a two-game swing in Texas, the Lady Greyhounds were playing their third game in three days after traveling over 1,000 miles round-trip. But you wouldn't know it from their first-half shooting as Wynne-native Tyler Hitchcock hit 5 of ASU Mid-South's 8 three-pointers on the way to a 55-30 halftime lead. And although the visiting Lady Eagles would close the gap with a 47-point second half, the closest they would come to the home team was the final margin.
Hitchcock and Aaliyah Lee both finished with 23 points each as Lee also pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds. Cierra Penn and Alindavia Lockett both dished out 5 assists, and Adrianne Chambers pulled down 10 rebounds as she and Jerrisha Rice both finished with 9 points.
The Lady Greyhounds (4-5) are off the rest of the week for final exams before finishing the semester with three consecutive home games next week, hosting Jackson State Community College Tuesday, Northeast Mississippi Community College Thursday, and Mississippi Delta Community College Saturday.
