The Lady Wranglers went on a 24-8 run to start the game and led 50-23 at the half before ASU Mid-South knew what hit them. But the Lady Greyhounds battled back in the second half and actually won the fourth quarter, 15-7, to set the final margin.
Contributing to the loss, ASU Mid-South shot just 37.0% from the field and 15.4% from the three-point line, although they lost the rebounding battle 42-33 and committed 28 turnovers.
Aaliyah Lee led the Lady Greyhounds with 17 points and 8 rebounds while Cierra Penn finished with 8 rebounds as well to go with 8 points and a game-high 5 assists.
Continuing their two-game swing in Texas, next up is a Sunday afternoon tilt at Ranger College before returning to The Dog House Monday against Williams Baptist University JV in what will be their third game in three days.
