Down 25-21 at the half, the Lady Greyhounds managed only 19 second-half points while the visiting Lady Tigers erupted for 37 thanks to 35 ASU Mid-South turnovers. The Lady Greyhounds actually won the battle of the boards, 43-42, althought Northeast capitalized on 21 offensive rebounds. ASU Mid-South also held the visitors to 30.0% shooting while converting 37.2% from the field.
Adrianne Chambers led the Lady Greyhounds with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Aaliyah Lee finished with 8 points and 5 caroms. Jaquita Caldwell pulled down 8 rebounds and Alindavia Lockett dished out a team-high 5 assists.
The Lady Greyhounds take on Mississippi Delta Community College at 2:00pm Saturday at home in the first game of a double-header that features the men hosting St. Louis Community College at 4:00pm.
