Lady Greyhounds Sign Three for 2020-21
Head Coach Mercedes Corona has announced the addition of three student-athletes for the 2020-21 season.
Head Coach Mercedes Corona has announced the addition of three student-athletes for the 2020-21 season. Breanna Campbell, Keiana Delaney, and Adrienne Wilbanks have signed NJCAA Letters of Intent and will enroll at ASU Mid-South in the fall.
Local product Keiana Delaney, a 5'6" guard from Marion (AR), played three years of varsity basketball, serving as a team captain her senior year while averaging 7.7 points, 3 rebounds and 8 assists per game for Head Coach Shunda Johnson. Marion finished the season 12-17 overall in the tough 5A-East with the league winner taking Co-State Champion honors.
Campbell and Wilbanks both played for Head Coach Domonique Allen at Corinth (MS) High School.
Wilbanks, a 5'6" guard, transferred to Corinth from Walnut (MS) High School for her last two years and as a senior averaged 15 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals per game with a high game of 26 points on the way to All-Division honors. She also shot an outstanding 44% from the three-point line and 67% from the free throw line.
Campbell, a 5'7" guard, averaged 9 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals per game with high games of 17 points and 13 rebounds.
All three student-athletes join the Lady Greyhounds as freshmen and will join six returners from last season.
