The Lady Greyhounds held the Shorter College Lady Bulldogs to just 20.4% shooting and 1-of-21 three-pointers on the way to a 64-40 victory Thursday at the Shorter College gymnasium in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Building a 36-18 halftime lead, ASU Mid-South took a 47-39 rebounding advantage and outscored the hosts 17-9 in the third quarter. The Lady Greyhounds also helped their cause by forcing 19 Shorter turnovers and hitting 24-of-36 (66.7%) from the free throw line.
Aryah Hazley led ASU Mid-South with 14 points and 11 rebounds while dishing out 3 assists, and Jazzmen Robinson finished with 12 points and 9 boards.
The Lady Greyhounds (15-9, 4-4) now turn their attention to Saturday's home game against North Arkansas College (14-9, 5-3) as both teams are battling for the region's second seed which receives a first-round bye in the NJCAA Region 2 Basketball Tournament. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00pm, and a ceremony honoring the sophomores will take place following the women's game and before the men's game with a scheduled tipoff at 4:00pm.
