Game 1:
Arkansas State Mid-South Make Comeback Attempt, But Fall To ASUTR Eagles
Despite an 8-run deficit in the fifth inning, Arkansas State Mid-South almost came all the way back, eventually falling 15-13 to ASUTR Eagles on Saturday. Arkansas State Mid-South closed the gap by scoring on a walk, a single, a home run, and a home run.

Arkansas State Mid-South Loses Despite Out Hitting ASUTR Eagles
Arkansas State Mid-South fell 13-11 to ASUTR Eagles on Saturday despite out-hitting them 16 to 10. Matthew Dutton led Arkansas State Mid-South with four hits.
Despite the loss, Arkansas State Mid-South did collect 16 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, ASUTR Eagles had 10 hits on the way to victory.
Arkansas State Mid-South got on the board in the top of the first inning after Bobby Clifton was struck by a pitch, and James Chicorelli singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
ASUTR Eagles jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Tyler Golden homered to center field, Hunter Ferrell doubled, and Lewis Meadough doubled to left field, each scoring two runs.
ASUTR Eagles added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning when Ferrell homered to left field, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run.
