Game 1:

Arkansas State Mid-South Fall After Strong Showing By Rhodes College

Arkansas State Mid-South had trouble keeping up with Rhodes College in a 16-1 loss on Tuesday.

Tejada led things off on the hill for Arkansas State Mid-South. The starting pitcher surrendered 12 hits and 13 runs over three innings, striking out none and walking one. 

Kevin Hamilton led Arkansas State Mid-South with one run batted in.  Ethan Hirons, Tejada, and James Chicorelli each collected one hit for Arkansas State Mid-South. Arkansas State Mid-South turned one double play in the game.

Game 2:  

Arkansas State Mid-South Can't Quite Erase 5-Run Deficit In Loss To Rhodes College

Despite a 5-run deficit in the sixth inning, Arkansas State Mid-South almost came all the way back, eventually falling 7-5 to Rhodes College on Tuesday. Arkansas State Mid-South closed the gap by scoring on a walk and a fielder's choice.

Arkansas State Mid-South took the lead in the top of the third inning after Ethan Hirons grounded out, and Darrian Yarborough singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.

Holden Jones took the loss for Arkansas State Mid-South. The pitcher went two and one-third innings, giving up four runs on six hits, striking out one and walking two. 

Kaleb Tejada and Yarborough were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Arkansas State Mid-South. Yarborough, Eli Dale, and Parker Andel each collected one hit for Arkansas State Mid-South. Arkansas State Mid-South turned one double play in the game.
