Bio
Tyler Poole enters his first year with the Greyhounds and is entering his 11th year coaching overall. Coach Poole will oversee the infielders, assist with the offense, and coach first base. He will also assist with recruiting, showcases, and camps.
Previously Poole has coached in the high school ranks with stops at Arlington, FACS, and Starkville Academy (MS) as the Head Coach and Madison Central (MS) and New Hope (MS) as an Assistant Coach.
While at New Hope, Poole was a part of the 2014 5A MHSAA State Championship staff with a record of 32-4. During the 2021 season, Madison Central was crowned 6A MHSAA State Champions with a record of 34-2 and was named Baseball America and National High School Baseball Coaches Association National Champions. At Arlington, Poole led the Tigers to a regular season district championship, district tournament championship, regional championship, and sectional runner up with a record of 28-11-1.
Coach Poole was also tabbed in 2024 as a MAIS Futures All Star coach as well as 2016 NEMCABB All Star Coach. He is also an ASBL Board Member, a developmental baseball league in Arlington, TN.
Tyler graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Mississippi State University and a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Arkansas State University.
Coach Poole and his wife Brittany have two children, Paxton (8) and Kolbi Kellen (4) and reside in Lakeland, TN.

I cannot wait to plant our roots and build a great relationship between our program and the city of West Memphis and the surrounding areas.”
