MSCC head coach Andy Stoglin knows that it's hard to win on the road.
It's even harder to win away from home when the home team shoots over 55% from the field and shoots 30 free throws to your 12.
That's what happened last night as the Lady Greyhounds dropped a 94-80 decision to John A. Logan, MSCC's final tune-up before their key regional game against North Arkansas on Saturday.
West Memphis native Kierra Adams led MSCC in scoring with 24 points on 10-of-18 shooting.
MSCC trailed 46-40 at the half, but hit only 2 of 4 free throws while John A. Logan hit 12 of 15 from the line.
"I felt like we played better in the second half," said Stoglin. "We just worry about the whistles too much. We must learn to stop letting that affect us and adjust to what the officials are calling."
MSCC will host North Arkansas on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. There will be no charge for admission to anyone who would like to attend.
The men's game will tip around 4 p.m.
