Trailing 28-16 at the half, the Lady Greyhounds stormed back to score 25 third quarter points to pull within 47-41. But the Lady Archers scored 28 points in the final frame to secure the victory.
Alesha Penister scored ten points and Samantha Jackson chipped in eight, but no other Lady Greyhound scored more than four points. Haley Morgan led ASU Mid-South with eight rebounds while Greer pulled down seven and Jackson finished with six boards.
The Lady Greyhounds head to the holiday break with a 6-6 record after winning a program-best nine games last season. They return to the court on January 2 with a game at Three Rivers Community College in Missouri before returning to The Dog House on Thursday, January 5, hosting Southwest Tennessee Community College, a team they defeated 84-62 on November 22 in Memphis.
