All Downhill for Lady Greyhounds at Blue Mountain

The Lady Greyhounds climbed ahead in the first half and coasted the rest of the way in a 73-38 victory at Blue Mountain College in Blue Mountain, Mississippi.

Taking a 32-17 halftime lead, ASU Mid-South's defense continued to dominate in the second half in limiting the Lady Toppers to 21 second-half points. The Lady Greyhounds finished with 27 steals in forcing 38 turnovers.

Raven Morrow led the charge for the Lady Greyhounds finishing with 18 points while Sable Greer scored 15, Samantha Jackson finished with 12 points and nine rebounds, and Alesha Penister totaled 11 points and came away with eight steals.

ASU Mid-South now gets nearly a two-week break before hosting NJCAA Region 2 rival North Arkansas College, currently ranked 17th in the latest national poll, on Saturday, January 11. Tipoff is at 2:00pm followed by the men's game at 4:00pm.
