The Lady Greyhounds raced to an 81-49 victory over Dyersburg State in their season-opener Wednesday at The Dog House.
Javia Wilson led ASU Mid-South with 18 points on 8-of-16 shooting while Alesha Penister scored 16 points while finishing with 8 rebounds, 4 assists and a team-high 8 steals. Taylor Simmons dropped in 13 points to go with 4 assists, and De'Janice Hamilton scored 11 points as she and Teiangula Boston pulled down a team-high 9 rebounds each.
Next up is a trip to Moberly, Missouri, as the Lady Greyhounds take on Lincoln Land Community College and Malcolm X College on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
