ASU Mid-South shot only 27.9% from the field and 21.1% from the three-point line for the game. In addition, they shot 58.8% from the free throw line while Holmes shot 74.3% and outrebounded the Lady Greyhounds 46-39.
Javia Wilson led the Lady Greyhounds with 15 points while Teiangula Boston finished with 13 points and eight rebounds. Alesha Penister also finished with 13 ponts to go with five rebounds and three assists while Sable Greer chipped in six points, six rebounds and team-highs in assists (4) and steals (3).
The Lady Greyhounds return to the friendly confines of The Dog House Thursday as they host Arkansas Baptist College at 5:30 p.m. in the first of two games. The men follow at 7:30 p.m. against West Kentucky.
