Lady Greyhounds Defeat John Wood at Moberly

Playing the first of two games at the Moberly Area Community College Classic, the Lady Greyhounds broke open a tight game in the second quarter and then added to their lead in the fourth period to take a 61-50 victory over John Wood Community College in Moberly, Missouri.

Tied at 13-13 after the first quarter, the Lady Greyhounds used a 19-4 second quarter to break open the game. Cierra Penn led ASU Mid-South with 13 points and 6 rebounds while Aaliyah Lee scored 10 points and pulled down a game-high 8 boards. Kaylan Larry scored 9 points to go with a game-high 6 assists, and Tashlee Milow came off the bench to notch 7 points and pull down 4 rebounds.

The Lady Greyhounds (4-0) now face Triton College (IL) on Saturday at Moberly, Missouri, before staying on the road Monday with a matchup at Dyersburg State Community College (TN).
