Taking a 27-13 first-quarter lead, ASU Mid-South built that to a 48-22 lead at the half before playing even the rest of the game for the win. The Lady Greyhounds held the Lady Eagles to 29.2% shooting from the field, 16.7% from the three-point line, and forced 23 turnovers.
Meleanna Williams led all scorers with 18 points to go with 9 rebounds and a game-high 5 steals while Tashlee Milow scored 17 and Jaylia Reed hit for 15 points. Aaliyah Lee chipped in 10 points while Alindavia Lockett pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds.
The Lady Greyhounds return to The Dog House Thursday for a region matchup against South Arkansas Community College before hitting to road Saturday to play National Park College in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
