After taking a four-point lead in the first quarter, ASU Mid-South outscored SouthArk 38-21 over the next two quarters and coasted in the final period for the win.
Jaylia Reed led all scorers with 21 points on 6-of-11 shooting, going 3-for-5 from the arc and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line. Aaliyah Lee finished with 12 points, Meleanna Williams scored 9 points to go with a game-high 5 assists, and Alindavia Lockett chipped in 8 points and pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds.
The Lady Greyhounds held their opponent to 29.5% shooting from the field and just 13.3% from the arc while forcing 33 turnovers and winning the battle of the boards 45-41.
ASU Mid-South (15-8, 6-1), currently ranked #14 in the nation, next travels to National Park College Saturday with tipoff scheduled for 2:00pm.
