Building a 36-25 lead at the half, ASU Mid-South broke the game open with a 22-8 third quarter and never looked back, holding Southwest Tennessee to 25.0% shooting from the field including 0-for-6 from three-point range and forcing 31 turnovers. Conversely, the Lady Greyhounds shot 42.0% from the field and an outstanding 16-for-18 (88.9%) from the free throw line.
Quintasia Leatherwood led all scorers with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 7 steals. Kya Washington scored 14 points, Aryah Hazley and Lakeycia Bables scored 12 points each, and Kayla Griffin chipped in 9 points. Jazzmen Robinson and Ashley Hopkins led on the boards with 6 rebounds each.
The Lady Greyhounds (5-1) get a week off before heading to Moberly Area Community College in Moberly, Missouri, the day after Thanksgiving for the Moberly Classic. Their next home game is Monday, December 5, as they host Crowley's Ridge College JV at 5:30pm followed by the men at 7:30pm.
