Lady Greyhounds Bow Out at #10 Moberly
With their second-worst shooting performance of the season and posting a season-high personal foul total, the Lady Greyhounds found it to be a bad combination as they fell 88-53 to the Moberly Area Community College Lady Greyhounds in the final game of the Moberly Classic in Missouri.

Down 22-14 at the end of the first quarter, foul trouble began to take its toll as ASU Mid-South trailed 48-26 at the half. Then after playing an even third quarter, the Lady Greyhounds saw three players foul out in the fourth period with two others playing with four fouls. Shooting just 29.2% from the field and 27.3% from the three-point line, the Lady Greyhounds were also only 12-of-22 from the free throw line compared to Moberly's 26-of-45 free throws.
Kayla Griffin led ASU Mid-South with 12 points while Aryah Hazley scored 10 points and Quintasia Leatherwood, Kya Washington and Ashley Hopkins chipped in 9 points each. Lady Greyhound leading scorer Aryah Hazley played limited minutes before fouling out as did Hopkins and Jazzmen Robinson. Leatherwood led the Lady Greyhounds in three other categories, pulling down 6 rebounds, dishing out 3 assists and collecting 3 steals.
With the loss to the #10 ranked team in NJCAA Division I, ASU Mid-South falls to 6-2 on the season with both losses coming to NJCAA Division I opponents listed in the top ten of the national rankings. The Lady Greyhounds next travel to Northwest Mississippi Community College Thursday, December 1, before returning to The Dog House Monday, December 5 to host Crowley's Ridge College JV.
