The struggles started early for the home team, as they would only make 4 baskets from the floor in the first half putting themselves in quite the hole early. While struggling from the field, the Lady Greyhounds didn't help themselves committing 15 turnovers in the first half alone. They would trail the Lady Trojans 34-12 heading into intermission. The Lady Greyhounds found some spark in the 3rd quarter outscoring the Lady Trojans. The fourth quarter was much like the first half for the host team, as all of their points in the 4th quarter came strictly from the free throw line, while committing 14 turnovers just in the final quarter.
Lula-jae Tranfaglia would get her 2nd double double in as many games as she scored 13 points while grabbing 12 rebounds. 5 of which were offensive.
The ASU Mid-South Lady Greyhounds are back in action Tuesday, November 12 as they head to Ellisville, Mississippi to take on the Lady Bobcats of Jones College. Tip-off is set for 5:30.
