Lady Tigers Scratch and Claw Lady Greyhounds
These two teams first met just two weeks ago in Clarksdale, Mississippi where Coahoma hosted ASU Mid-South. Tonight, Coahoma made the trip to West Memphis in their finale matchup of the season. The Lady Tigers came out swinging early on the way to a big win.

It was a quick start for the Coahoma as they jumped on ASU Mid-South early in the game causing 9 turnovers in just the first quarter. Coahoma turned those 9 turnovers into 7 points, and used an effecient shooting quarter to go up 21-8 at the end of the first quarter. These Lady Greyhounds fought back in the second quarter trimming the lead to just 11 going into the break.
Coming out of halftime, the Lady Tigers came out on fire connecting on 12 of their 15 shots in the 3rd quarter really putting seperation between both teams. Unfortunately for ASU Mid-South, the 4th quarter did not prove to be any better. The Lady Greyhounds only managed to score 1 point in the final 10 minutes, whereas Coahoma would score 17. The Lady Tigers would defeat the Lady Greyhounds 72-28.
Coahoma was led by Hope Thomas who tied a game high with 15 points. Cayla Myers had 13, Kamil Washum with 11, CyNara Robinson and Jamaica Young both finished with 8.
Zarriah Adams led ASU Mid-South in scoring with 15. London Robinson with 6.
With the loss, ASU Mid-South will drop to 0-8 on the season. They will travel to Harrison, Arkansas, Thursday, December 5th to take on North Arkansas College for their first Region game of the year. Tip-off is set for 5:30.
