The Greyhounds added their first guard for the 2015-16 season with the signing of 6'2" combo guard Cameron Ricks from Mills High School in Little Rock.
Ricks led the comets in scoring, assists and steals for a 20-6 team that finished second in the ultra-tough 5A-Central conference on the way to the state tournament quarterfinals. On the season, Ricks averaged 15 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals per game while earning All-District, All-Metro, All-State and All-State Tournament honors.
A three-year basketball letterman, Ricks was a three-year starter for coach Raymond Cooper.
"We are very excited to add Cameron to our program," said head coach Chris Parker. "He comes from one of the top programs in the Little Rock metro area, and has played against top competition throughout his basketball career. We expect that experience combined with his academic background and character to be an outstanding fit for our program."
