Using a tough, pressure defense, the Greyhounds held the host Missouri Baptist JV Spartans to 17 first-half points on the way to a 95-46 victory in St. Louis, Missouri.
ASU Mid-South forced 28 turnovers while committing only 13 miscues and held the Spartans below 31% from the field for the game. Jerrick Cole and Terrandus Smith led the offense with 17 and 16 points, respectively, and Chris Smith chipped in 10 points to go with six rebounds. Teverette Cain, Dee Montgomery and KeShaun Davis all finished with nine points while Terrikous Smith took the honors for all-around contribution with six points, seven rebounds, four assists and five steals.
The Greyhounds play their sixth consecutive game away from The Dog House on Saturday at St. Louis Community College who is currently undefeated with a 5-0 record.
