The Greyhounds saw what running out of the gate looked like Tuesday night, and their comeback attempt was too little too late as they fell to Northeast Mississippi Community College 104-77 in Booneville, Mississippi.
The Tigers shot 51% from the field and an outstanding 44.4% from the three-point line, hitting nine three's in the first half and 16 total for the game. The result overshadowed a career-high 35 points and 11 rebounds from freshman Terrandus Smith, who joined brother Terrikous Smith's 11 points as the only Greyhounds in double figures.
ASU Mid-South travels to Itawamba Community College in Fulton, Mississippi, Thursday with the women's game starting at 5:30pm and the men playing at 7:30pm.
