ASU Mid-South (4-0) never trailed as they led 69-33 at the half. Kylon McCullough scored 20 of his game-high 27 points in the first half and shot 12-of-17 for the game while pulling down 7 rebounds. Spencer Simes came off the bench to score 18 of his 21 points in the second half, shooting 8-of-11 from the field and dishing out 3 assists. Sam Smith registered yet another double-double scoring 16 points to go with 16 boards, leading the Greyhounds to a 67-32 rebounding advantage. Kevin Fulton dropped in 18 points, Jordan Rainey scored 14, J.T. Smith had 12 points, and Jacob Hudson chipped in 11 points.
The Greyhounds held Central Baptist to 28.9% shooting from the field, 24.2% shooting from the arc, and forced 20 turnovers while committing only 13 of their own.
In the NJCAA national poll released earlier in the day, the Greyhounds moved up 3 spots to #8 in the nation, and played like it Monday night. Next up is a home matchup against Northeast Mississippi Community College Saturday at 4:00pm following by a Monday road game at Crowley's Ridge College in Paragould, Arkansas.
