Taking a 60-46 halftime lead after Monroe Carr beat the buzzer with a three-pointer, the Greyhounds cruised in the second half, hitting 11 three-pointers for the game. Jordan Rainey scored a career-high 24 points, going 8-of-13 from the field, 5-of-8 from behind the arc, and a perfect 3-for-3 from the free throw line. Sam Smith finished with his fifth double-double of the season scoring 21 points to go with 10 rebounds and two blocked shots. J.T. Smith and Jeremiah Jones scored 12 points each, Monroe Carr and Kevin Fulton scored 10 apiece, and Spencer Simes finished with 9 points.
The Greyhounds (11-2, 4-1) next play Monday vs. St. Louis Community College in The Dog House before hosting South Arkansas Community College Thursday as they begin the second half of NJCAA Region 2 play tied with South Arkansas University Tech for the region lead.
