Tied at 47-47 at halftime, the Greyhounds saw the host Colts open the second half with a 7-0 run to jump out to a lead they would never relinquish. The Greyhounds just couldn't find the mark as they could get no closer than 6 points the rest of the game.
Kylon McCullough scored 21 points and pulled down 8 rebounds while Sam Smith scored 19 points and collected 9 boards. Jeremiah Jones put in 17 points with 6 rebounds, and Spencer Simes finished with 8 points and 3 assists. The Greyhounds were on the short end of the rebounding battle, 39-36, and committed two more turnovers, 15-13. And while ASU Mid-South limited the Colts to 9-of-31 from the arc (29.0%), they were in control the second half thanks to a 27-point, 14-rebound, 8-assist performance from Terry Anderson.
The Greyhounds (13-3, 5-2) look to regroup quickly as they travel to SAU Tech Monday in East Camden, Arkansas.
