Greyhounds Get #14 Seed at National Tournament
The Greyhounds received the #14 seed at the NJCAA National Tournament and will play the #3 seed Henry Ford College Tuesday, March 21, at 11:00am in the tournament's second overall game.

The NJCAA National Tournament features the top 16 teams in the country and is played in a double-elimination format at Danville Area Community College's Mary Miller Center in Danville, Illinois. This is the Greyhounds' second appearance in the National Tournament with the other appearance being in 2018 when the Greyhounds were also seeded 14th and ended the tournament as the 5th best team in the nation.
With the tournament being double-elimination, the Greyhounds will play Thursday regardless of Tuesday's outcome. With a win the Greyhounds play Thursday at 6:00pm against the winner of the Orange County (NY) vs. Scottsdale (AZ) game. Should the Greyhounds lose, they will play the loser of that game Thursday at 3:00pm.
The Henry Ford College Hawks are located in Dearborn, Michigan, and sport a 26-4 overall record. They won the Michigan Community College Athletic Association Championship Game 105-85 over Bay College (MI), won the Great Lakes B District Championship with a convincing 89-73 victory over Hocking College (OH), and have won 22 games in a row entering the National Tournament. They have been nationally-ranked in every NJCAA poll of the 2022-23 season and have been ranked #3 in the last 5 weeks of the national rankings.
ASU Mid-South is 23-10 overall and won their 5th NJCAA Region 2 Championship in the last 7 years on the way to the Central Plains District Championship where they knocked off Metropolitan Community College (MO) 83-71.
