Middleton Puts Final Touches on Coaching Staff
Head Coach Jason Middleton announces the hiring's of both Bryce Bartlett and Collin Campbell to round out the first ever baseball coaching staff at ASU Mid-South. Middleton who was named the Head Coach on March 7, 2023 has been nonstop getting ready for the Greyhounds inaugural Baseball season both in recruiting student athletes, and rounding out his staff.

Middleton who was named the Head Coach on March 7, 2023 has been nonstop getting ready for the Greyhounds inaugural Baseball season both in recruiting student athletes, and rounding out his staff.
Bryce Bartlett
Coach Bartlett comes to ASU Mid-South from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas where he was on staff the previous two seasons most recently as the Director of Pitching Development. Bartlett will be in charge of managing all aspects of the pitching staff. "I have been very fortunate to be able to learn from some very respected coaches in the industry such as Wes Johnson, Travis Lallemand, Alan Dunn, and Thomas Raffo," Bartlett says.
"I am very excited to have Bryce lead the charge for our pitching staff. He has learned and been around some of the best pitching coaches across the country, and I can't wait to see him develop our pitching staff," Middleton Said.
Bartlett is a native of Searcy, Arkansas where he committed to University of Central Arkansas before ending his playing career at Arkansas State University for the Red Wolves.
Collin Campbell
Coach Campbell enters his first season with ASU Mid-South and well be working with the infielders, hitters, and coaching first base. Campbell will also be in charge of all Greyhound baseball camps and showcases. "I'm very excited and thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the first baseball team at ASU Mid-South. I'm eager to get things going and get to work. I'm thankful to Coach Middleton for giving me the opportunity to be here," Campbell said.
"Collin is a high character guy and has a true passion for baseball. He really wants what is best for our student athletes and is going to push our players day in and day our for them to be their best version of themselves," Middleton said "I'm super excited to have Collin on board for our inaugural season."
Campbell graduated from McCrory High School in Arkansas in 2012. He then went on to play baseball at Harding University, and was a part of an historic 2014 season for the Bison.
The Greyhound will get their Fall Ball season started in September before kicking the season off in February. The Greyhounds home games will be played at the Tilden Rogers Sports Complex in West Memphis, Arkansas.
