ASU Mid-South and National Park College met at Rhodes-Reaves Fieldhouse on the campus of Harding University for the first of two region 2 semifinal matchups. The Nighthawks have defeated the Greyhounds both times in their previous two matchups. The third and final matchup would be no different as the Nighthawks end the Greyhounds season winning 93-77.
The Greyhounds and Colts met just 4 days ago in De Queen, Arkansas which saw the Colts take an 87-78 victory. This time, the winner would move on to the next round and the losing teams season was over. The Greyhounds held on to a 67-65 victory over the Colts.
In the regular season finale ASU Mid-South traveled across the state to face off with the Colts of UA Cossatot. The Colts were victorious defeating the Greyhounds 87-78.
A lot of emotion was running through The Dog House Thursday night as the Greyhounds recognized all 5 of their sophomore's before the game. Their slow start didn't hold them back from defeating South Arkansas College 89-74 in the final home game of the season.
Every time ASU Mid-South and North Arkansas get together, it always seems to be a hard fought game. The Greyhounds traveled to Pioneer Pavilion and would get revenge from their 83-79 loss at home earlier this season defeating the Pioneers 105-85.
Like no surprise, sophomores Jesse Washington and Je'Marion Westbrook lead the Greyhounds with big nights to complete to ASU system showdown series this year defeating the Aviators 72-50.
ASU Mid-South traveled to Little Rock, Arkansas to face off against the Shorter Bulldogs. A game that got off to a quick start continued throughout as the Greyhounds found themselves back in the win column defeating the Bulldogs 82-65.
Shooting less than 26% from 3 on the season, the Colts of UA Cossatot did not let that stop them as they bury 9 three's in The Dog House to defeat the Greyhounds 71-67.
ASU Mid-South travel to Hot Springs on Monday to face off with the #1 team in the country, National Park College. The Nighthawks showed their strength early and often and would never let the Greyhounds sniff an upset moving to 20-0.
In the first ever matchup between ASU system schools, the Greyhounds welcomed the Aviators of ASU Newport into The Dog House for the first time. In a game that would serve either school bragging rights, it was the Greyhound who would merge victorious.
ASU Mid-South hosted the Rockets of SAU Tech to begin the second half of Region 2 play. The Greyhounds would overcome a slow offensive start to pull out the 66-65 victory in The Dog House.
The Greyhounds traveled to El Dorado, Arkansas to square off with Region 2 opponent South Arkansas College. It was the Shooting Stars who would prevail and defeat the Greyhounds 87-74.
After a tough game on Thursday, the Greyhounds were back at home as they hosted Shorter College. The Greyhounds found themselves able to pull out a 74-71 at the end.
In their first game in 2 weeks, the Greyhounds would welcome the Pioneers of North Arkansas College into the Dog House for a region 2 contest. The Pioneers would end up edging out the Greyhounds late to take home a narrow victory.
The Greyhounds hosted #3 Nighthawks from National Park College in The Dog House, but it was the Nighthawks who pulled away late and won the first matchup of the season 80-64.
The Greyhounds of ASU Mid-South traveled to East Camden to take on the Rockets of SAU Tech to begin Region 2 play. When the final buzzer went off, the Greyhounds had claimed a 78-71 victory.
