Despite getting double-double performances from two Lady Greyhounds, MSCC dropped a 92-77 decision to Arkansas Baptist College Thursday night at The Dog House in West Memphis.
Kierra Adams finished with 27 points and 11 rebounds while Sasha Giles scored 16 points and handed out 15 assists, but it wasn't enough in the end as the Lady Greyhounds couldn't hold on to a 43-41 lead at the half.
Ivory Thornton scored 12 points while Victoria Broady and Lacordia Williams both scored 8 and Dominique Dillard chipped in 6 points to round out the scoring.
MSCC now turns their attention to the Region 2 Championship as they host the North Arkansas College Lady Pioneers on Saturday, February 28, at 2:00pm. Admission is free.
