Leading by three points at the half, the Lady Greyhounds battled Columbia State to a tie in regulation before falling 83-74 in the overtime period Tuesday at The Dog House.
The teams were even in nearly every category with the Lady Greyhounds forcing 24 turnovers while only committing 16, but Columbia State shot nearly 42% from the three-point line in hitting ten treys for the game and outscored ASU Mid-South 9-0 in the extra period for the win.
Raven Morrow led the Lady Greyhounds with 21 points and 7 assists while Samantha Jackson finished with a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds to go with six assists and five steals before fouling out. Lacordia Williams also had a double-double on the night with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Next up is the Lady Greyhound Classic this weekend at The Dog House with St. Louis CC coming to play Friday and the Lady Tigers Ball Club team slated for Saturday.
