Four Lady Greyhounds scored in double figures as ASU Mid-South picked up their first win of 2020 with a 75-56 victory at UA Cossatot in Lockesburg, Arkansas.
The Lady Greyhounds (5-9) jumped out to a 35-25 lead at the half and then coasted the rest of the way behind 46.8% shooting and controlling the boards by a 51-24 advantage. They also helped themselves with an outstanding effort from the free throw line, hitting 13-of-14 (92.9%), and limiting the Lady Colts to 34.4% shooting from the field.
Aaliyah Lee led the charge with her fifth double-double of the season, scoring 14 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. Adrianne Chambers led the scoring assault with 17 points to go with 7 boards, and Ashley Pegue and Alindavia Lockett scored 16 points each while Lockett also collected 9 rebounds. Tyler Hitchcock dished out a game-high 7 assists.
The Lady Greyhounds next travel to National Park College Saturday in the first game of a double-header with the men. Tipoff is scheduled at 2:00pm.
