Down by 3 after the first quarter of play, ASU Mid-South outscored Williams Baptist JV each of the next three quarters to take a 66-51 victory Monday at Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
Aaliyah Lee led the charge with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 blocked shots. Meleanna Williams scored 11 points and Cierra Penn chipped in 10 points to go with a game-high 4 steals. The Lady Greyhounds shot 46.4% from the field and 35.7% from the three-point line while limiting the home team to just 25.9% shooting.
The Lady Greyhounds (3-0) play in the Moberly Area Community College Classic in Moberly, Missouri, this weekend, taking on John Wood Community College Friday and Triton College on Saturday before a trip to Dyersburg State Community College (TN) Monday.
