Bio

Coming from the hometown that produced recent NBA lottery pick Malik Monk, Reed led the East Poinsett County Warriors in scoring with 22 points per game while adding six rebounds, four assists and two steals per game after averaging 19 points, five rebounds and five assists per game as a junior. The Warriors finished his senior season with a 22-10 record after reaching the state basketball tournament quarterfinals for coach Stephen Brown. This follows a junior year in which the Warriors made it to the State Championship game only to fall in the finals.

Reed was named All-Conference, All-State, and All-State Tournament as well as to the NEA All-Tournament team and the Jonesboro Sun newspaper's Best Under the Sun as one of the top basketball players in Northeast Arkansas both his junior and senior year. He also earned an invitation to play in the Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Game held in June at the University of Central Arkansas' Farris Center in Conway as one of the state's top seniors.
