Kaylon Tappin, who led the Mid-South Community College Greyhounds in scoring and finished among the team leaders in almost every statistical category, has accepted a scholarship from Henderson State University.

Mississippi post players Jerell Bernard and Ladarius Mason have signed National Letters of Intent to play basketball at Mid-South Community College.

This is a group that was part of 18 wins this season, and 14 last year. Each mark set a school record for wins.

Try as they might, the MSCC Greyhounds were unable to defend their Region 2 tournament title from last season.

After two postponements due to inclement weather, Rhodes College JV has chosen not to make up the contest, giving the Greyhounds a 2-0 forfeit victory.
