Fort Smith's Moore Signs with Greyhounds
All-State guard Ike Moore from Southside High School in Fort Smith, Arkansas, has signed an NJCAA Letter of Intent and Scholarship Agreement and will join the Greyhounds this fall.
All-State guard Ike Moore from Southside High School in Fort Smith, Arkansas, has signed an NJCAA Letter of Intent and Scholarship Agreement and will join the Greyhounds this fall.
Moore (6'3", 175 lbs.) led the Mavericks to an upset of eventual state-finalist Fort Smith Northside on the way to the 7A State Tournament, their first state tournament appearance in six years. Moore led Southside in scoring, averaging 15.1 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game while shooting 47.3% from the field and an outstanding 45.2% from the three-point line for Head Coach Charles Cooper.
He earned All-Conference honors as both a junior and senior and was named to the All-State and All-State Tournament teams as a senior. In addition, he was one of 30 seniors in the state of Arkansas chosen to play in the AHSCA All-Star Game held June 23 at the Farris Center located on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
