The Greyhounds have signed their tenth prospect for the 2018-19 season as Jalen Sasser (6'7", 215 lbs.) from Little Rock, Arkansas, has signed an NJCAA Letter of Intent and Scholarship Agreement.
Sasser averaged 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots per game while shooting 43% from the field and 75% from the free throw line for Little Rock Central Head Coach Oliver Fitzpatrick. Playing in the ultra-tough 7A-Central Conference, the Tigers finished 9-16 on the season but competed with the best, dropping both conference games to state champion North Little Rock by a combined six points, and the late-blooming Sasser played his best basketball in the second half of the season to earn All-Conference honors.
Sasser joins three returners from last year's 29-6 squad that placed fifth in the program's first NJCAA National Tournament appearance.
