Jalen Lynn, a 6'0" freshman from Collierville, Tennessee, has been named the NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week for December 3-9, 2018.
Jalen Lynn, a 6'0" freshman from Collierville, Tennessee, has been named the NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week for December 3-9, 2018.
Lynn helped the Greyhounds defeat St. Louis Community College by scoring 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting, hitting 4-of-7 from the three-point line, while pulling down 3 rebounds, dishing out a couple of assists and blocking a shot.
Currently leading the team in scoring by averaging 17.6 points per game, Lynn is shooting 47.5% from the field, 36.2% from the 3-point line and 81.4% from the free throw line as the Greyhounds finished 2018 with a 7-3 record and receiving votes in the NJCAA National Poll.
The Greyhounds next play a pair of games in Jackson, Tennessee, January 4-5, in the first 2 of 4 road games before returning to the friendly confines of The Dog House with a January 14 matchup with Itawamba Community College at 6:00pm.
