Greyhounds Enjoy Record-Breaking Victory
Freshman Jalen Lynn (Collierville, TN) set a new single-game scoring record by scoring 40 points including 12 3-pointers as the Greyhounds earned a 115-75 victory over West Kentucky Thursday at The Dog House.

The dozen treys was the most by any Greyhound, and the fact that he did it on 15 attempts (80.0%) was the second-best shooting performance in Greyhound history behind Joe'Randle Toliver's 6-for-6 shooting against Arkansas Baptist on January 9, 2016. As a team, the Greyhounds shot a program-record 63.6% from the arc on 14-of-22 shooting to break the record of 60.0% shooting (6-of-10) set against St. Louis CC on November 20, 2015. ASU Mid-South also set the record for assists in a game with 39 to break the former record of 37 also set against West Kentucky on February 2, 2017.
Christian White hit for a career-high 26 points, and his 12-for-12 shooting was also a single-game record for field goal percentage as he became the first Greyhound to shoot 100% in a game with at least 10 attempts.
The Greyhounds (14-6, #20 in the nation) broke open the game late in the first half as Lynn heated up, eventually hitting 10 3-pointers and scoring 32 of his 40 points on the way to a 57-39 Greyhound lead at the half. In the second half, Christian White took over as the Stars shadowed Lynn, scoring 16 of his 26 points in the second frame.
Jalen Sasser finished with 10 points and a team-high 6 rebounds, Shaheed Halk dished out 10 assists as the 115 points scored was the second-most this season behind the school-record 142 scored against Champion Christian on November 5.
ASU Mid-South hosts Crowley's Ridge College JV on Monday at 6:00pm before hosting Region 2 rival North Arkansas College on Saturday, February 9, at 2:00pm.
