Greyhounds Torch National Park

ASU Mid-South's defense held visiting National Park College to 23 first-half points while the offense was as efficient as its been all season as the Greyhounds took a 101-58 victory Thursday at The Dog House.

The Nighthawks (15-5) came into the Region 2 matchup averaging 97.7 points per game and the top three-point shooting team in the nation at 41.5%. But the Greyhounds' defense held NPC to only 3-for-20 (15.0%) Thursday night. The Greyhounds also benefited from a 44-26 rebounding edge and forced 21 turnovers while shooting a season-high 62.7% from the field.

Garret Finley led the first half charge with 10 of his 14 points as ASU Mid-South went inside early and often on the way to a 49-23 halftime lead. Then in the second half, Christian White kept the momentum going by scoring 12 of his game-high 16 points to go with a game-high 9 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. Caleb Henry also scored 16 for the Greyhounds while Kamari Marrs hit for 11 and Treay Jamison chipped in 10. Brien Kimmons led the team with 5 assists.

The Greyhounds return to The Dog House Saturday at 2:00pm as they host the University of Arkansas Cossatot.
