Jumping out to a 42-26 halftime lead, ASU Mid-South used their size advantage to keep the Eagles at bay. The Greyhounds dominated the boards 42-20 while holding Williams Bapitst to 32.8% shooting from the field and 23.3% from the three-point line while shooting an outstanding 61.5% from the field and knocking down all 5 of their free throws.
Christian Thompson led all scorers with 26 points on 12-of-15 shooting to go with 9 rebounds, and Sam Smith set a school record for double-doubles in a season by scoring 15 points and pulling down 11 rebounds for his tenth double-double of the season. T.J. Stewart scored 14 points and Jailen Anderson chipped in 11 points.
The Greyhounds move to 10-9 on the season and next host South Arkansas Community College Thursday in their next NJCAA Region 2 contest.
