Anderson returns for his sophomore campaign after earning the starting spot at point guard as a freshman as he averaged 8.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.1 steals per game while playing in all 26 games.
Among the strongest on the team, Anderson came to ASU Mid-South from powerhouse program South Side High School in Jackson, Tennessee, as the athletic 6'2" point guard led the top-ranked Hawks to a 26-2 record that ended with a 1-point loss in the state championship game. As a junior, the Hawks were 32-0 and ranked #1 in the state of Tennessee before COVID ended the state tournament with South Side set to play in the quarterfinals.
The three-year letterman averaged 10.5 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists, earned All-Conference and All-Region honors as both a junor and senior, and was named to the All-State Tournament team as a senior for Head Coach Damonn Fuller while finishing the season ranked in the top 75 players in the state by Tennessee Prep Hoops.
