Same Story Different Day For The Greyhounds
A game that was much closer than the score indicates, ASU Mid-South let another opportunity go through their fingers late.

"Frustrating and really embarassing." as Head coach Cody Hastings was real brief with his post game thoughts.
The Greyhounds and Tigers would go back and forth throughout the first half, but it was the Tigers forcing the Greyhounds with a late turnover and transition layup to give the Tigers an 11 point lead heading into the half. The Tigers would get up 34 shot attempts compared to the Greyhounds 22. A lot of that had to due with Northeast Mississippi forcing 13 ASU Mid-South turnovers. The 2nd half would start off going back and forth as the Greyhounds would cut the Tigers lead to 7 with 15 minutes remaining in the game. Tyler Byrd would hit an uncontested 3 pointer in the corner to put the Tigers back up 10. It was from that moment that the Tigers started to seperate themselves, and seperate themselves rather quickly. Within a span of 2 minutes played the Tigers would double their lead from 7 to 14 and would push their lead to as much as 34 before winning by a score of 95-63.
The Tigers would have 5 guys in double figures with Landon Jeffries leading the charge with 16. Tyler Byrd with 14, Stephon Thomas 13, Zane Tipler 12, and Ru Mills with 10.
Jaxson Yancy would lead the Greyhounds with 15 points, and Braylon Frazier was the only other Greyhound in double figures with 13. Davonta Tucker and CJ Washington both scored 9 a piece.
