The Greyhounds had battled back from a 39-36 halftime deficit and the lead changed several times throughout the second half before Halums finished with a game-high 28 points.
Dee Montgomery led the Greyhounds with 26 points and four assists while Terrandus Smith scored 17 and K.J. Patrick finished with 12 and six rebounds. Trevor Banks led the home squad with 11 rebounds to go with seven points.
The Greyhounds travel to Champion Christian in Hot Springs for a 6:30pm game Saturday and then to Crowley's Ridge College on Monday before returning to The Dog House Saturday, December 9, for a 1:00pm rematch with St. Louis Community College.
