Bio
Jeremiah Jones begins his collegiate career with the Greyhounds after helping lead the Little Rock Central Tigers (18-12) to the 6A State Championship game before the Arkansas Activities Association called off the finals due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Central was named Co-State Champions with finalist Conway, a team they swept in conference play, and Jones was named Co-MVP of the 6A State Tournament.
The Tigers finished tied for third in the ultra-tough 6A-Central conference under Head Coach Brian Ross. The 6'0" guard averaged 12.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 31% from the three-point line. He earned All-Conference honors this season as well as being named to the 6A All-State Tournament Team.
Playing varsity for three seasons, Jones has been a part of a basketball program with a lot of history as this year's team captured the school's 19th boys' basketball state title. Jones' junior season saw the Tigers lose in the first round of the state tournament in 2019, but this year's squad was the first to win a state championship since 1999 when NBA All-Star Joe Johnson was a senior.

Down 8 points at the half, the Greyhounds held the SAU Tech Rockets to 4 points in the first 8 1/2 minutes of the second half to take the lead, then held the visitors off down the stretch for a 73-71 victory Thursday night at The Dog House.
The Greyhounds scored 93 points against North Arkansas College, but saw Pioneer center Trent Lippoldt have a career night with 35 points and 24 rebounds as ASU Mid-South fell 109-93 Saturday in Harrison.
