Bio
The West Memphis native comes to ASU Mid-South after a stellar high school career. Tranfaglia played at West Memphis Christian under head coach Hayden Baker. She was an MAIS All-Star, 2 time All-District, 2 time All-Region, and 2 time All-State. During her senior year, Tranfaglia averaged 18 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks per game her senior year.

UA Cossatot made the long trip across the state to West Memphis on Monday really taking it to ASU Mid-South early and often. The Lady Colts would outscore the Lady Greyhounds in every quarter except the 4th when the game had already been decided.
These two teams were originally were supposed to meet January 9th, but the winter weather had pushed this game back 9 days. You could tell it was an early start for both teams, but it was Shorter who settled in and was able to take a 70-59 win back to Little Rock.
The first game back for the Lady Greyhounds as they traveled to East Camden to take on the defending Region 2 Champions in SAU Tech.
In the final game of the season for the Lady Greyhounds, ASU Mid-South traveled to Booneville, Mississippi to take on Northeast Mississippi. ASU Mid-South only had 5 eligible players, and the Lady Tigers took full advantage until the final buzzer.
In their final home game of 2024, the Lady Greyhounds took a break from Region 2 play to host Jackson State. The Lady Greyhounds would try to keep it close, but a big 2nd quarter from Jackson State made it really hard for a comeback.
A game in Region 2 Division 2 Women's Basketball which have numerous Region 2 Championships between the two of them met in Harrison for the first of two matchups this season.
It was a record setting night for the Lula-Jae Tranfaglia, as she would tie a school record with 24 rebounds.
The Lady Greyhounds headed to Ellisville, Mississippi for their first and only matchup with the Lady Bobcats of Jones College this season.
