Yancy comes to West Memphis from eStem High School in Little Rock playing under head coach Monty Patel. During his senior season, Yancy would earn All-Conference honors while he averaged 15.3 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 made 3's per game. He is the single season leader in 3's made with 89.
